How can you tell when your precat is clogged

I have 52.000 miles on my car and I have read that the precats tend to get clogged between 50 and 60.000 miles and that could cause engine failure. I have RB Catback and maybe I want to install a DP. Will I have any problems with only these 2 mods? I have read a lot of internet pages but there are different opinions on this .

Thank you in advance

Usually if your pre-cat is clogged, you'll notice more heat (even more than normal) build up in the cockpit from the pre-cat. You'll also notice less and more inconsistant boost patterns as well.

You shouldn't have a problem adding a downpipe if your only other mod is Racing Beat catback.

Drop the precat, and instal a DP. You'll make some power too, along with your cat-back. The only problems will be with legal issues, which depends on where you live. If your worried about engine failure, A boost, water temp, and A/F gauges wouldn't hurt along with a better radiator.
