Cool AEM or Haltech?

Guys,

I'm in a bit of a dilemma....

Can anyone fill me in what you guys think is the better one to run? I know the AEM is new but does anyone have previous experience with AEM products.... I know the Haltech is the tried and proven one.... But I'm curious about this AEM one.....

Thanks,

Later,

Seeing as the AEM unit is not available just quite yet (should be available sometime this week), I don't think anyone is going to have input just quite yet for it's use on the FD.

However, several people have used them on other vehicles and seem to like them.

The AEM on Hondas seems really good.

For me, I want to keep the stock wiring harness and not have to worry about running a new one for Haltech.

A friend of mine bought an AEM for his 95 Supra and fried the motor soon after that. I and many I know have had issues with the Haltech E6K and timing. Go with what your tuner recommends and really depends on ow far you are going with the mods on your car.

I went with the Microtech.

Go with something you can get local tuning with. If your local dyno tuner doesnt know how to use a aem dont get it..ect

If you dont have a local tuner and your getting a wideband to do it yourself go with what ever has the most support, or one where there are other people with similar mods to your using it.

Lastly, I wouldnt make a decision till people are actually using the aem with no problems.

Also dont forget some time soon Haltec is supposed to be releasing a new model that from what I've heard is going to be bad ***.

Time will tell
