Hot air out vents?

Man...... just where does the outside air come from into the interior when it's set on fresh (not recirculating) air............ beautiful 70 degree day here in Florida and after a 10 minute ride followed by the car sitting in the parking lot for 30 minutes I took off.....sunroof and drivers window open and on fresh air it felt like I had the friggin heat on with the temp set all the way to cool....................this only started to cool after about 10 minutes of driving or so............. if I didn't know better I'd think the air was being taken from the engine compartment..........is this common?........I hate the thought of using the AC all the time in the summer.......... a little much for that little 1.3liter, even if it IS cranking 255hp...........Thanks,

David

I don't know, every time I have drove mine, the air coming out of the vents gets warm after driving for several minutes, especially if driving aggressively.

I have used the A/C on a 70 degree day already. BTW, I really didn't notice much of a drag just tooling around with the A/C on, but I wouldn't recommend it for racing.

Lucky... when I am driving around here in the 40s. I get heat only out of the floor (after driving it for about 20-30 minutes). I think half of that is just comming through the firewall. My vents blow out semi cold air. In the summer... well... my A/C isn't working.

Since you have no mods, I'm assuming you still have the nuclear reactor (a.k.a. PRECAT) installed. This alone generates a LOT of heat.

Thanks for the feedback, guys....... seems like I'm not alone in this symptom............Flybye....... you're right........ but I just bought a SS DP (pettit-new) out of the classifieds here so I really hope it helps...........sounds like it'll give me a little extra HP and a new sound so that oughta be a good 250 spent............

Thanks again........
