Hood latch woes...
Well, in order to open my hood, I have to have one preson pressing on the hood, while another pulls the interior-latch. Once the person lets the pressure go, then the hood will pop back up. I think it's that little wire on the interior-latch -- it has too much travel, maybe. Anyone know how to resolve this?

On page S-6 of the Factory Service Manual found at www.iluvmyrx7.com it shows the latch and how to adjust as duboisr mentioned.

Do I loosen all of the nuts holding the door latch mechanism to the body (3 of them?), then adjust the big spring or the little one?

No luck.
Well, I tried lowering it -- no luck.
I also tried adding more tension on the line by using a zip-tie to anchor it to the chasis -- no luck.
It still requires two people to open it. Does anyone know where I should go from here?
