Sounds like a flute -no wait, make that a freakin' OBOE or a Digireedoo- only under hard boost. Recently installed dp and ghetto straight through Dynomax muffler, main cat still there........
Scares the **** out of everyone I pass!
Can't think of anything else going on, damn my car runs GOOD, boost is 12-8-12. I know....be careful during cold weather.
Please don't tell me this is the turbo death whine, cause I looked at both of them and checked the shafts for play, they were clean and tight.:cool
Is this sound common with more open exhausts and/or dp's?

don't race, don't need to
I get a really pleasant whistle at 10 inches vacuum to 2 inches vacuum as the turbo spools. I'f I'm not being all serious about the accel, it'll whistle all during that vacuum signal. This what you mean? Have the DP too, but stock exhaust otherwise. LOVE non salted winter roads...

The only time I hear the MOO FART sound is when I swerve to avoid hitting a cow.

I designed and welded it all by my lonesome self.
It has an incredible deep, bass sound.
It has awesome flow, and improved mid-range torque.
It only cost $79 minus a $20 Internet rebate. The stainless steel twin tips were $75 plus a little extra hardware.
I can afford to buy any exhaust I want, and had a $500 N1 single on it before.
It looks great. (picture attached)
