HKS vs. Blitz Nur Spec

Hey guys i got an fd and I can't decide which exhaust to buy, its pretty much between the HKS with the titanium tip and carbon fiber wrap and the Blitz Nur spec. Have any of you guys heard these exhausts, which one doesn't sound ricey? I also like the HKS hiper without the carbon fiber wrap hows that one sound? thanks alot

I have the NurSpec on my FD, I liked it alot. For the price you can't beat the quality.

Get the nur-spec, it is much cheaper and everybody with a Honda won't have that exhaust in 6 months. The HKS Carbon Ti is starting to show up on all kinds of cars, I personally think the carbon wrapped canister is cool, but that artificially 'tinted' tip is a bit ricey.

I like my HKS. The tip has changed to a light brownish tint, but the colour at the end is still there. The build is excellent, I haven't driven other FD's to compare the sound. It has a nice deep sound from inside the car. It is loudest at about 3000 RPM.

Very good pt, now that adds one more benefit on my choices for the Nurpsec on my car.

nurspec

i have the blitz nurspec on my car. You will like it, it looks real good and sounds real deep. I have a silencer on mine, to keep the noise down a bit.

"Sounds Ricey" is going to be subjective. The Blitz is one of the best bang-for-the-buck catback's available. Looks nice and doesn't cost an arm and a leg.

Both of them have a similar design, so they are roughly going to sound the same.

the sound has a lot to do with whether or not you have a dp and or stock cat or mid pipe. I just got the nurspec and i love it. But the thing is, is that i still have the stock cat and pre cat on. So the catback sounds very close to stock. BTW my stock catback was rusting out with a couple big holes in it.
