HKS Turbo Timer Type 1

I just got this turbo timer, HKS TT Type-1 and I need instructions for it...... they are kinda in Japanese and I KINDA dont speak it very well. It says USA Spec on the case of it but then it comes in Japanese, not very smart, but then again..... whatever........

If anyone has instructions for this or anything to help me use it, I'd appriciate it. Also any suggestions or tips with this also appriciated, thanks a bunch.

Did you get the wiring harness for it as well?

is this the one with one little LED screen and it has maybe 5 buttons lined up?

i think the first button pressed is 1/2 min, the second is 1 minute if pressed, 3rd is 3 mintues, last is 5 minutes. Any combo of the buttons adds the times up.

If i remember correctly, it'll use either the HKS harness or even the GReddy harness no problem.

I got the harness with it. It actually is black and lights up neon blue. It has 4 buttons...... 1 on each of the 4 corners of the turbo timer's face.

I just need to know the basic functions and how to make it work best.

The top left button is the "menu" function and the top right button changes the settings, ex: 30, 1:00. I think the bottom two buttons are the start/stop buttons for the stop watch feature.

Just got it installed, kinda figured out what each button does on each menu but....... MY REAR WIPER WONT TURN OFF! Help!

Ha, I noticed when my friend installed it but I thought it was a certian setting on the controls for it along the side of the wheel but nothing works, it cannot be stopped, maybe have to disconnect and start over? We'll see.....

does the wiper turn off when you turn off the turbo timer? Did you hook up the speed, rpm, and brake wires? Is your rpms and speed accurate on the turbo timer?

Nothing works except the battery voltage meter. When I turn the turbo timer off the wiper is still on. I need to hook up to the tach, speed, and brake wires still, I just figured I would have a working turbo timer for the time being until we got those other parts hooked up.....

You have to hook up the ebrake wire for it to work.
