What are you considering high? When the car is warm, at idle what is your oil pressure? What oil weight are you using and what are your ambient temps?

When I am driving my car, the oil pressure stays pretty consistently near the top of the gauge. What is your doing?

i'm using 20/50 castrol gtx since its a jdm car the oil pressure is measured in kg/cm squared. Right now usually it idols around 4 kg/cm and when the RPMS go up it stays between 6 and 8. Boost doesn't really effect my oil pressure at all. It just stays between 6 and 8 whenever the rpms are above like 2 or 3 no matter what the boost.

um temp is normai when cold oil pressure is between 6 and 8. When warm it drops down to 4 at idle but goes to between 6 and 8 above 2 and 3 rpms

When i first got the car, it would stay below 4 and boost up to 6. Now boost doesn't seem to effect it at all.

IMO that's too thick even for the summer, which it's not...

4 kg/cm2 is about 56.9 psi. That's about right. What you are seeing sounds normal for the weight of the oil you are using. The FSM only specifies "at least" 50 PSI at 3,000 rpms:

it runs 4 at idle and between 6 and 8 at 2000 rpms

Yes, high oil pressure isn't a problem which is why the FSM doesn't list a limit. Low oil pressure would be a problem. If you are above 50 PSI at 3000 rpms, then you are fine. If you want lower oil pressure, use a lower weight oil like 10w30 or 5w30. The higher the weight, the harder it is to push around thus the higher pressure (and worse gas mileage as well).
