High oil pressure
How high is too high of oil pressure? Just changed to a new oil cooler set up and from 10w30 to 20w50 oil and my oil pressure is much highter. when I get on it, it goes almost to the 120 mark. Is this too high ok or what. It never got anywhere near that before.

I hope you let it warm up before you got on the gas. But if you get a higher oil pressure from changing the oil to a thicker weight then you would get a differnce. A oil cooler will not make a differenc but if you had a leak or something and you fixed it with out noticing it then that could be possiable.

Maybe saying "get on it" was inappropriate. I haven't really mashed it yet. I have only been driving it two days since the oil coolers. I want to slowly build up to being back on the track and keep checking for leaks. It's just when the RPMs get up a bit the pressue goes up almost to the 120 on the gauge even when it has had ample time to warm up.
Still no leaks and nothing is popping off the car.
