coil overs, OR springs to lower my car?? which one?
im looking to lower my Fd... but i am confused on what to get. in your Oponion should i get COIL OVERS, new SPRINGS. im just looking to have my *** end lowerd so its even with my front, because it looks a little goofy with my 18" rims.. So i just wanted to see what everyone thought about this situation. and let me know of the brand that you like on either the coils, or the springs. thank you

Coilovers would be better but are more expensive. It all depends on how much you wanna spend. For what you are talking about (looks). I would just get the springs.

You might want to post this in the the suspension forum.
If you want to lower the rear to match the front coilovers are a good (often not needed) and expensive choice.
Regular lowering springs bring the car down the same front and back. The only ones I know that will get rid of the "jacked in the back" look without making your front bottom out, is the racing beat springs.
They are slightly stiffer then stock, and lower the front 3/4 of an inch and 1.5" in the back.
The also won't cost you an arm and a leg.

Get adjustable height suspension or else you MAY start rubbing your wheels against your front fender and ruin your paint job(like mine)
Coil overs definitly give you this option. For a bit less you can buy M2 coil over conversion springs that allow you convert any strut into an adjustable height suspension for about $500.00
BTW, does anyone have a cheap set of M2/Ground control springs to sell me??

Since I was not interested in coil-overs, I had H&R springs with Koni yellows installed. Nice even front and rear lowering and no wheel well gap. Ride is nice, not too stiff with the Koni's set to soft. Looks nice too.
