hey does anyone know about blow off vavles

I would like to know what is the best blow off valve for a '94 mazda rx7 with stock turbos. What is the loudest and best blow off valve.

Replace your BOV with 4 Kazoos taped together.

Really, a upgraded BOV like TTT said isn't needed on an otherwise stock car. But if you like to be louder either vent your stock one(cost effective) or get one from Greddy, Apexi or Blitz, or even HKS. And IMO there is no "best" BOV as none of them add HP..

TTT, Duh. It'll sound cool man. What ever you do, don't get the Greddy type-s. The Bosch PORSCHE 930 BOV sounds pretty good for $60.00.

As the others have stated, try venting the stock BOV to atomsphere and see how you like the sound.

That may be just what you are looking for without spending any money.

If you do want an aftermarket BOV, I would suggest you get one with a full kit so you don't have to get creative trying to mount it.

I bought the Apexi BOV. Why? For the hell of it, I was bored and wanted to spend some money. It's adjustable and very easy to install.

I think the general consensus is that the Blitz is the loudest. (and I think it sounds the coolest).

But maybe you should try venting your stock BOV, it is quite loud.

Does venting the stock bov's do any harm, or cause any adverse effects? I know that they normally recirculate back into the air box, will removing these pipes do any harm or affect the performance of the car?

dont waste your money on a BOV if you are on stock twins. the stock BOV can out-boost the stock turbos.

on a single turbo setup, settle for no less than an HKS Racing Type II or Tial.

Blitz BOV

I originally got the Blitz BOV. It is the loudest one that I heard by far. I think it goes well with the stock twins because it would not be that loud. I upgraded my turbos and it got a little too loud for my taste. In my opinion, you have two turbos and you should let people know it when you are passing him on the road.

I still have my Blitz, so if you are interested in taking it off my hands PM me.
