Hesitation problem.

I'm getting a hesitation when I first hit the gas. I thought I had a loose throttle cable and it felt loose but when I flip the throttle under the hood, it still hesitates. As far as I can tell it only does this at idle and when I let up on the gas between shifts. Could this be a fuel filter going bad or injectors? The fuel filter only has 6K miles on it but it is 4 years old. The car was stock with very low miles and I installed cb,intake. dp, and Pfc. I had this problem before these mods but wasn't near as bad. Maybe it's dumping too much fuel or not enough. Any help would be apreciated. r

Who tuned the car? How old are your spark plugs. I had some hesitation until i changed my plugs.

The car hasn't been tuned yet. The plugs are about 2500 miles old. Maybe I'll have it looked at next week and tuned.

When you first hit the gas and in between shifts?

Def sounds like the IAC.

My friends honda was NOTORIOUS for that. He diagnosed and almost replaced every single little sensor and it was that at the end lol.

It has a slight stumble at idle but idle doesn't flutuate much at all. It sounds like it's missing almost like when I did the Pfc learning. But not near as bad. I just took it out and it has this slight miss when I take off until I shift. This is not the hesitation thing though, that is separate. My first thought is the fuel filter. This was the first tank of gas with Idemitsu premix. That may be it. I think I will take it to Jason in Columbus and have the plugs, plug wires, and fuel filter changed. And put a new tank of 94 octane gas in. I may even do the learning process again.

Why would you think it's your fuel filter? That doesn't really make any sense.

It sounds more like a TPS problem. Have you checked the voltages for your TPS on the PFC recently?

Voltages are perfect. TPS is set up perfect. gets better with idle around 900rpm but problem just hangs around. My tuner added fuel, took it away, tried a few things. nothing

So you just needed a tune? I'm having the same problem. When crusing when I just start to step into the throttle it starts stumbling and hesitating. Although once I get into boost it pulls like a freight train! TPS values are perfect, new 9's all around, and there's 3000 miles on the new injectors. Any ideas?
