You are going to have to import it from somewhere. Either Europe, Japan, or North America. The problem with a car like this in that part of the world is the theft potential of it. Doesn't South Africa have the hightest auto theft rate and car jacking statistics in the known universe?

Hiya , I grew up in South Africa and Im now living in South Carolina. Where in SA are you? I was orig from Empangeni in Natal and then moved to Knysna in the Cape before immigrating to the US. They only had the older RX7s in SA , the FD never made it over there....what a shame. If you import one you will be one of the few if not only.

South Africa is insane for hijacking and auto theft but they go for the more popular cars that they can part out etc. You wouldnt be a huge target .....but then again , evry thief has different taste

I'm also South African. ( and some other countries.. ) but born in JHB..

As far as importing it I know its not very difficult. My cousin imported a skyline and he said there wasnt anything besides paperwork and paying some bastard minister of rubbish a small fee.

The bad news is the skyline was hijacked. The 1 hijacker was shot by the other got the car.

Also most places dont insure foreign cars so check that out as well.

I'll be in JHB in June so drop me an email and I can get you more details.

cheers

Poor skyline, get a tank or something, then you can ambush hijackers and run em over, or just shoot em!

South Africa... home of the aftermarket flamethrower accessory for your vehicle, to toast the carjackers. Literally.
