HELP - Smoke from Turbo
I have an issue where smoke appears to be coming out from my Turbo - Compressor side housing.
I didn't take a good angled picture, but it's not coming from my top oil feed line, but from the compressor housing.
This is a relatively new issue where I notice it heavily on start-up and cool-down.
Start-up has become bad where over the course of a 5-10 min warm-up you can see a smoky haze with a nox-like smell.
Before diving into it, can someone help point out if my turbo is bad or needs new seals?
I do have bad hesitation where the I can't go under full load on my high boost setting.
(low boot setting for some reason I can wot)
I'm not sure if this is somehow related or if it's another gremlin issue.

Has the turbo been fine for some time then recently started smoking?
If you pull the intake/intercooler pipe off is there any oil in the inlet or outlet of the turbo?
Any play in the turbo's shaft?
