Help with oil line
Alright.. I believe i have a leak in an oil line. The line returns from the oil cooler back to the oil filter. The leak is at the connection under the a/c compressor where the oil line changes from flexible hose to a hard line. Does anyone know how to get that flexible hose off?
The front part of the hose has a huge coupling with large nuts and a clip.
Must i loosen those nuts or just get the pin off and pull the line out.
Also, anyone know what kind of connection that is going from flexible to hard line.. TIA, Damiean

All of the flexible oil line connections are quick release; just remove the small wire clip and pull the connections apart. If you have a leak one of two things is wrong: either the connection was not pushed together properly or the o-ring inside is torn. Once you pull the connection apart you'll see the o-ring. Of course this is messy; have a pan and lots of rags.
