if i wind it out in first gear and shift into second i have no boost. if i let off the gas i can hear, i guess it's the turbos, unwind (weird sound hard to explain) but if i shift from second, immediately into third the problem doesn't happen. also this problem only seems to happen shifting from first to second gear. it's probably safe to say i have a boost leak somewhere but i don' t understand why this would only happen in second and not any other gear? is there some type of a tank that holds boost, if so, maybe i might be leaking boost out of there? thanks

 

I would think its a soleniod. Almost positive since I had the same problem. One other thing is that a hose came off most lickley under the intake plenum!
