HELP!!!! My FD is sooo slow

Hey guys, my FD is running fine, its just that it is soo slow. I don't know what happened, it seems like it lost most of its HP or something. Does the problem deal with my Turbos or something else? Please help me out guys....thanks a lot....

edit:
I posted a harsh reply, but I decided I need
to stop being so damn mean(or at least cut down on the cruelty).

so anyways, you need to get a boost guage,
chances are its not boosting right(yes.. that has to do with the turbos). you might want to get a better temp guage also.

and take the car to a mechanic who knows about FD's if you cant handle taking care of it yourself.

I suggest reading this thread...and doing a search on boost problems.

My FD felt REALLY slow...almost slower than my Celica till I checked my Y-Pipe fittings...you might want to check there first...

Archangel has a good point. The factory Y-pipe is plastic and has a tendancy to crack. Also, just listen to your turbos when you boost. You should be able to hear if something is "off" or if it's boosting right. But you do need a boost gauge. And not that Auto Meter crap!! Is your car idling very rough or dieing on you?

Give us some tips on Mods! If you don't have a boost gauge, then go get one...

I have a auto-meter boost gauge - works great. Aso check the upper and lower rubber IC hoses as they have a tendency to get tears in the them (if you ic is stock) This happened to me when I was stock and I didn't have a boost gauge - when I put a new lower IC hose I must have gained 70 rwhp - it was amazing! Boost is everything in the FD!
