Help me diagnose - sputtering, jerking....

k, my car is getting to where it sputters and jerks.....

most noticable:

lower rpms, when cruising.....when giving a slight amount of gas to keep speed up, but not enough to noticeably accelerate. When the gas under 1/2 a tank, it seems to be worse. Seems to happen worse, once the car is fully warmed up.

what should i check?

holy ****. you running super rich. jeeeebus..

first thing i would do is pull my injectors and get them cleaned/checked. Running rich like that can be numerous problems...

My list of troubleshooting would be

send injectors off to be cleaned and checked

While car is down replace the fuel filter.

check EVERY Vaccum line. since you have to pull the UIM off to get to the injectors that shouldnt be to bad.

Nows a good time to invest 100 or so bucks in an aftermarket FPR.

on a side note, i get about 80 miles out of 5 gallons.

maybe i stretched it a bit with the 30 mile thing......it's more around 60 i guess under boosting.

my a/f gauge doesnt say im running THAT rich, it stay's on the rich side of "stoich".

wont hurt anything driving like this will it?

ill do some grounding, replace the fuel filter, remove emissions and see if that fixes it.

If you were getting 6 miles per gallon... its very possible you can cause excessive wear on the rotor housing due to lack of lubrication (fuel being dumped in).. 12 miles per gallon seems "ok" for your mods listed... how much vaccum are you pulling at idle?

dont think im runing extremely rich, by a/f gauge rarely ever leaves the "stoich" range, and if it does, it's for a fraction of a second.

Does your AF gauge bounce as you're cruising? The O2 sensor may be dying, or the wiring that tapped into the O2 sensor is at fault somehow, giving the ECU false or low readings.

Fresh set of plugs and a fuel filter is definitely the first place to start.

Zero,

Check to ensure you TPS is adjusted properly. The problems you are describing sound consistant with a tps out of spec. You may also need a tune up I.E Plugs/O2 Sensor/Fuel Filter/Clean the fuel pump strainer.
