Can a locksmith refit or refurb the cylinders? My ignition key works fine, the weather over the years has obviously gotten to my outside locks.

Way back when there was a spray-can lubricant made especially for locks that has worked well for me. It has a very low-viscosity oil and graphite in it. I still have some. Now I see that there is something called "Houdini Lock Lubricant" that a few links suggest is good. YMMV

yes, and so can you! the door/trunk locks are very simple, and very easy to take apart and re-grease, or re-key.

Just broke my key off inside my ignition !!! Looks like the replacement keys I had made are TOO long !!! For future reference DO NOT use the M727 key blank. It is a half inch too long, which puts undue stress on the key when you turn it. Use MZ22/X200 instead. It's the proper length, but it does not have the circular head. It's squarish. I'm going to try an Efini key blank next.
