help: looking for advice/tips tranny to differential

i'm putting my long block in. i'm having a bitch of a time getting the differential to mate with the tranny all the while trying to get the two bolts on the end of the tranny to clear the ppf, any advice or tips in getting the long block into the car would be appreciated

also im doing this in my drive way with an engine hoist and two car stands

sorry im trying to get the propellar shaft and the rear of the tranny to mate all the while trying to get it to clear the ppf

It sounds like the drive shaft is still connected to the diff? If so remove it and install it after the engine is in. You may want to remove the bolts holding the ppf to the diff and then move the ppf out of the way. Once the engine is in, use a floor jack to support and align the trans so the ppf can be installed.

Try this, get the back wheels off the ground and when you are putting the shaft in twist it back and forth, but it really helps to have the shaft out.
