Help with install of HKS T timer

Ok i have the HKS turbo timer and i have it completely set up EXCEPT i dont have the safty curcuit wire hooked up or the rpm signal wire hooked up.

my question is, what are the colors of the wires for this on my car and where can i find them?

The tt has a brown rpm signal wire and a grey safty curcuit wire.

can anyone help me out on this one? Thanks

It shows you in the instruction manual. I beleive the grey wire can go to either of the red ebrake wires. The brown goes to the ecu harness but I don't remember.

the instruction manual i got with the timer shows nothing, but it does tell you what to do almost exactly like i said. the only problem is that it doesnt tell me what colors the wires are on my car are and i dont really want to do a guess and check situation on wiring in my car.

You don't need the colors of the wires from the ecu, it shows the 4 plugs (which are all different sizes) and which slot it taps into, you just count, "3 slots fron the left, on the bottom."

It took me a total of about 30 minutes to do the Type-1 on my 94. I don't have my car or else I could tell you the color of the wire.

I wired mine up and it worked...the diagram that comes with it shows it as the 5th wire from the top of the harness looking from the wire side (the big one clossest to the floor board..) I believe it was green with like a red stripe on it...then the other one was to the harness right above it...looking from the wire side I believe it was the bottom right wire...that was it...then the e-brake has to be hooked up for it to work...I should have read the instructions before I did the install...would have saved myself an hour trying to get it done without the e-barke..
