The engines are different.

An auto engine can be used in a manual, but a manual engine cannot be used in an auto. The Auto Starter cannot bolt up to a manual engine.

So with a auto manual swap will there be any peformance different from a regular 5 speed?

I have taken apart two post 95 engines and 2 pre 95 engines and was shocked to find the 4 manifolds are all different with different locations of air nipples, different openings and different accessories locations.
