Unhappy help BB wont start

i was replacing the guage cluster one day and when i go to fire her up the next day, nothing

i checked for spark nothing

i got a check engine code of 2 and 13

map sensor and cas

do jdm motors and ecu have diff CEL???

please help

did you look at the map sensor and cas's?

if the CAS don't pick up the ECU won't know when to fire.

but it fired before when that code came up

So it was working find then you replaced the cluster and it stopped working? It cranks but just doesn't fire?

Did you try putting the old cluster back in? Is the new cluster from a US car?

i dont think that would make a difference im using the 99spec gauge cluster with no prob. did you reset the ecu already.

nah it was a us cluster

i swapped it with another one i had nd still nothing

no i didnt reset ecu

...... ;(

um, you might want to try to reset ecu and then report back that it either did or did not work. then actually go and check the map and cas sensor. if you dont know where they are, the map sensor is the little square box on the driver side firewall and the cas is on the engine, right under the water pump. it should look like 2 circular cylinders. if you do a search on them, im sure you will find a whole bunch of pics here.

yeh resettin the ecu didnt work

Go under your hood and check the main fuse box next to your battery. Make sure your EGI fuse and all the fuses for that matter are good. If everything checks out ok, then check all your fuses inside your car (D/S kick panel by the clutch pedal).

Start there. Good luck and post what you find.
