I have a problem with my car when idle. The engine does not run smoothly and almost stalls but then recoveres and there is a lot of movement being displayed on the boost gauge even though the car is in idle and it dosnt sound right. car is sounding more like a train sort of pulsaating and the boost guage is very irratic. Is this a problem with the spark plugs ie need changing or is this bad news something much worse.

when idling at a standstill the boost guage moves irraticly at - .05 bars but when accelerating it rises but remains within normal boost levels.

the problem is not appartent when the car is in motion although i dont feel its moving as smoothly but it still drives very fast.

Can anybody help me out before i go down to the auto shop so that at least they wont be able to rip me off as easy. (im from the united Kingdom and we always getting ripped off over here)

I have a hks boost guage, WS induction kit, recirculating dump valves and an APEXI back box. everything else is pretty standard accept bomex body kit and ap racing wheels.
