You can also heat the tar up and use an air chisle. I just went at mine with a air chisle on a hot summer day then used a hammer/regular chisle to get the smaller batches. Lastly clean up with some paint stripper (or any good solvent) to get any of the crap thats left behind and clean surface. Just use a rag and let that **** sit for 5mins on each spot to get the best results. Some people will just poor solvent all over the place and come back later but thats the lazy *** aproach.

I didn't really think that I would need dry ice. Last week, I was drilling holes for the driveshaft loop and when the drill bit caused some tar mat to come up. I lifted up on and it and big chunk came up so............. I dunno.

LUPE, you need to come to the realization that your car IS a race-car how many miles a year do you put on that thing? Or maybe i should ask you how many quarter-miles a year you put on it....

You really should just get rid of the stereo and such, if your resorting to stripping sound deadening. I would just go ahead and do what dubulup has done to that blue car. Just think of how much the car would weigh if you started like that, and just added the necessary parts, rather than taking the unnecessary parts off little by little....

My car is still somewhat streetable and I want to keep it that way. I actually drive my car around town quite a bit. The only way I would completely strip the car is if I wanted to turn it into a pro modified car ( I don't want that ). Heck, the car scares the hell out of me now.

You don't need ice or heat. Put your air chisel to it and it will all come off very easily.

lol. u know, you dont actually have to drive around with 600 whp. You can turn the boost down and actually have less chance of blowing your motor while still having a ton of fun, not to mention not scaring yourself as much....

just think of how nice it would be to be able to leave your depends at home while your out in your 7

when you say streetable...do you put an exhaust on, or leave it with just a DP...if so, that isn't considered streetable.
