Has anyone used CC fab lab LCA ball joints?

I came across this website which sells front LCA ball joints that can be retrofitted to our non-serviceable control arms.

https://ccfablab.com/product/cc-fron...-kit-rx7-fd3s/

I haven’t heard of anyone using them before, but so think I will try out a set. They don’t list any install instructions on the website, so I’m also wondering if any special tools are required.

Nice!
you'll need to press out the old ball joints but it looks like these are held by the large nut. Why don't you contact CC for instructions and recommendations?

It looks like they intend to have a video on how to install. First I've heard of these, that would be a good way to go.

BTW that kit includes 2 of them which is nice.

I would want to know how to get the original ball joints out of the arms first. Originally, it's not a serviceable assembly.
For example, I bought Moonface Super Lap LCAs back in 2014, and they mill the OE ball joint out in order to install a ball joint with a longer stud (roll center correction).

^Good point. I don't know if they are staked in there or what, never looked that far into it. It's quite possible a machine shop would be involved.

Without a doubt. If the instructions include "plug in a grinder," I'm running.
