Had a blast with FD at the track!!

I had an oppertunity to take the car to Nelson ledges for the first time and I was BLOWN AWAY by how good a FD really is!! Suffice to say it was my first time running around a real track and I could not put it down all day,it was that mutch FUN.

I know Luke ,an instructor at the track, was really helping me out and by the afternoon I was running head to head with Z06,s and some ITS prepped cars. This mutch fun is normally not legal with your clothes on and I can see the attraction of why guys get into this type of racing.

Whats funny is your not supposed to be racing but if they see you are safe, they are ok with it.
Now I,m hooked and will start to do this on a regular basis for sure.Moral of story, dont wait 2 years like I did to take your FD to the track.

Just get ready to take on a 2nd job and order some new checks now, cos there's lots of $$ to be spent (tires, fluids, track time, equipment, and of course, the mods that will start to move up on your priority list now that you're tracking the car).

Thumbs up

Yup. It's addictive as hell, too. The road course blows away the drag strip in every possible way

As an an organzier of open track and drivers education events, I do not condone competitive racing at these type of events. Open track and drivers education events are meant to be recreational and educational. It takes much more seat time and formal DEs to acquire a comp license to really go club racing (competitive racing for positions on the track). Besides insurance companies get very nervous when the term, "racing" is used to describe your attendance at an open track or drivers education event. Just trying to clarify that open track and drivers education events are NOT competitive events, and folks on this board should not have the impression that competitive racing is condoned @ OT and DE events.

Don't forget selling off whatever bodily fluids that they pay money for.

Hmmm, is there a limit on sperm donations?
