If that thing was LHD, my car would be up for sale immediately.

.66 USD currently. 2 months ago it was .62 USD. Shows us where our USD is headed towards.

Anyways, you can buy JDM ITRs out there for like 8k USD as well. They have no tariffs on imported cars from Japan meaning you can import your own as well.

Also, in regards to NZ - I'm moving there in April and I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do about my own cars. I keep going back and forth between import the FD or don't import the FD. Importing it would allow me to use the container space for other belongings - and actual registration and importation of a LHD car is limited to one per 5 years for a newer car. My issue is that I could import one from Japan or buy a local one but I keep thinking about the money I'd lose if I sold my FD here and took a hit on the mods I've already put into it. Also, it's not like I'm too interested in redoing all of the same mods again (especially having to buy the same things over again for new prices). Hard decisions.

Actually just answered my own question by doing a little research.

If the serial number is not 400014 and ONWARDS, an FD3S can be imported into NZ (meets front impact standards). This means anything 95+ is allowed, 95- not. Weak.
