Gullwing RX-7
minus the HIEDOUS hatch back that makes room for the unnecessary speakers, that car looks really tight. i love the doors like that, just wish they weren't so expensive to do correctly... last price i found was near $1500.

Ok looking at the white one in the first link closely it is a station wagon check it out it has the hatch modify with glass and the modify shifter console in the white RX-7 very interesting.

no no, the $1500 was correct... unfortunately i don't remember the name of the company.... i'll do some searching later this week. PM me so i remember to get back to ya if this little chat gets burried ok?
to each his own... you worship lamborghini and i pray to a higher power McLaren F1 (also incredibly similar to the Enzo's doors). i would much rather have a little cocky swagger to it... but that's just me

well the enzo/mclaren doors have a different angle of opening, they dont go straight out and straight up...
straight up just looks better on this specific car than decah style.
if they made doors maybe with the pivot point a little higher so that it opens more like wings like the enzo, it would also look nice. i dunno how to explain what im saying but like i mean the inside bottom corner of the door, its y axis is still parallel to the original plane... also the way the door is shaped and connects with the body, it just doesnt work the same way... this is far from looking like mclaren/enzo doors...

Here's one U.S. source for scissor door hinge kits. They claim that no cutting is involved and that you can convert back to your original hinges afterward.

I still cant decide if I like them or not. Maybe if I didnt see an H2 with the same kit. Try opening an H2 door like that in a garage..... I guess one good thing about them is you will never give other people door dings, unless your an idiot.
