guages
all right guys, i am doing a special A/C relocation and am putting new autometer guages. I need 5 in all, don't ask where i will put all these, i'll show when it is done.
I have so far
boost
A/F ratio
Water temp
fuel pressure
and...
which 5th one should i get?
Oil pressure or temp, exhaust temp, ...??? I want something that will tell me something important, don't tell me to put the clock...
what should be my 5th one?
thanks a lot

Bigger and better things
You dont need the EGT and the A/f they pretty muh do the same thing. The a/f gauge sucks ***! I dont believe any of them work well enough to warrant them being in the car.
I personally would do an oil temp gauge and maybe a clock

Oil temp or pressure, your perogative. My friend with an M5 is **** about his oil temp.
Mike
p.s. I am running boost gauge, fuel pressure, airfuel and water temp. No idea where to put a fifth

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
your gonna waste $250 on **** gauges. they will end up in your garbage can, and youll have quality DEFI, GReddy, Apix'i, or SPI guages in your car.
spend the extra $150 per guage so you wont have to later.

yeah i know there are not the best but i don't want to spend all that money only on guages.
i think that autometer guages can't be worst than the stock guages so... I will get the water temp and i don't think that it is that important to know that i am running 212 degres if the guage is showing me 210...
and don't mind to see 9 psi if i run 10 psi, it is mainly an indication, i won't be tuning anything with it.
here in canada it is very difficult to get the defi and greedy and all other good type of guages, they cost almost triple what you guys pay. Aftermarket products for rx-7 sucks here in canada.

Get the DEFI gauges, they use senders and a main controller, so all you are hooking up to your gauges are wires; and they are daisy chanined. Oh, and the controller records up to 45 seconds, and plays back exactly what you recorded on all your gauges.
Get the EGT gauge; possibly instead of relying only on the stock O2 sensor. Best to have both though.
