You didn't really need the 6AL the 6a is what i use cause i have rev limiter set with the Power FC.

i suggest you visit MSD's website and check out their excellent installation diagrams and notes. you are splicing the MSD amp between the ignitor wire to the leading coil and the coil. the wires are yellow w a blue stripe ( the negative wire) and black w red stripe (the positive coil wire.

i suggest you disable the rev limiter since it will effect only the lead spark and therefore could cause major engine blowup problems.

i put the 10k rev limt plug... i think i'll be safe not to hit that, i set the PFC rev limit for 8.3k... the only reason i went with the 6AL is because it was brand new and from a buddy of mine. but thanks for the info guys really helped i'll finish up the install tomorrow and post some pics for others.

edit: The picture above is right, and can be used to simplify the ignitor to coil wiring (as I've done) but it's a little deceiving for this install. Why would you cut the wires going to the trailing coils?

You pretty much wire the MSD box in between the ignitor and the coil. You don't "tap into" them. You sever two lines.

Here's a quick pic to help out:
