Greddy Type S Question

First of all, I did a search, but nothing on my question. I installed my Greddy Type S BOV today, and when I started it, the distinctive Type S noise wasn't there. It just sounds like a louder version of the stock CRV. Does anyone know how to fix this? That's why I bought it. Thanks.

i think you just have to play with the adjustment at the top...think if you tighten (make it harder?) it you should get the high pitched sound youre looking for

How are we ricers? The Greddy Type S is one of the most widely used BOV by RX-7's, Supras, etc. I've noticed a lot of people on this forum who are quick to ridicule others, but offer no real help to anyone.

I bought it from Rotary Performance (RX7.com). It's a real Greddy.

step 1. Loosen the nut that holds the screw on top.
2. loosen the screw w/ your allen wrench.
3. tighten nut back down.

Do these steps at slight intervals to get your desired sound. Dont get crazy w/ it!!

All day today I've been adjusting the the spring tension, from all the way loose to the point when compression surge and fluttering begins. It all sounds about the same. I am running it atmospheric, could recirculating back into the intake change the sound? Should it be recirc'ed?
