good or bad? can it handle high boost or no?

high boost? HELL ******* YEAH...and adjustable for low or high boost. Not a very flash sounding bov...but who wants that anyways...

Maybe it doesnt matter but figured I would post anyway, im running the Type R on my Supra TT w/18psi. I love the sound of it, kinda sounds like a ton of air rushing out, nothing else, im into the sleeper thing. Dont like the loud BOV's. If your into showing off and letting everyone know you have a turbo, this isnt the BOV for you.. It is loud under full acc. though. I wouldnt have it any other way, havnt heard anything better to date.

hey, like how you adjust that thing anyway? like what does it meant when it says softer and what setting should it be closer to under 14psi ish?

i have the type r on my FD. haven't heard it yet i heard andres old FD with the type r and like the sound of it. not ricey at all

You have an adjustment bolt on the top of the thing. You basically loosen the nut on the top, and put an allen wrench in the bolt, and turn CCW to loosen the spring and make the setting softer. It should open around .5 kg/cm2.

Aftermarket Blow off valves are not for sound... No matter what blitz tells you.

The type R is the poop... It is flexible enough to be able to use with smaller boost levels and when you go to play with the big boys it will handle any psi you throw at it.

You have to be non sequential or single to use it properly though.

For starters gauges... but if you are refering to the metic question I thind 1.0 metric is like 14.5 psi I think.
