You can hook it up to any vacuum port on the uim after the throttle body. Just pick one thats easy. The fpr line is kinda hard to get to.

If you are still using a factory tune then 11psi MAX. If you are tuned for more boost, then your max boost would be what you are tuned for.... The adjustments you should be more concerned with are the others available on the EBC. This will control how quickly it spools as well as help control any spiking. There are several threads around the forum on good starter settings, but they all also say you just have to take the car out and dial the setting in yourself. It really is not that bad, just read through the manual a few times. Good luck!

Yeah it's pretty easy to use once you understand it. One thing to note is the overboost setting defaults to 14.5 everytime you turn off the car until you interact with the boost controller. I've always ran higher then 14.5 so I turned all my over boost settings to zero because I would forgot to interact with the unit and it would lower my boost. Which was very annoying. Another thing to note is when display is set to PSI its displayed in 3 digits. So 103 is 10.3 psi and 11 is 1.1 psi. etc.

To turn the boost up just turn the **** to adjust the SET. (This controls boost levels) Push the button in to adjust the other settings.

SET GAIN is used to optimize spool. It holds the gate closed until a preset boost level. Usually you want this 3-4 psi from your target boost. If boost spikes then lower it.

WARNING is the maximum boost that you do not want to exceed. If you exceed the WARNING level, it will kick in the LIMITER, this decreases boost by the amount that you set. Again I set this at zero so it wouldn't automatically adjust my boost. Otherwise set it to about 1 psi higher then target.

LIMITER is how much the boost lowers when it hits WARNING. 3-4% is usually used. In my case it's 0.

GAIN is the boost consistency. Basically it changes the amount of times the controller compares the current boost level to the target boost and makes adjustments. Turning this up will also increase the target boost. If the boost is inconsistent, falls off, or creeps then turn this up until it goes away or you feel surging.

Always start low and work your way up to whatever boost you want.
