WHEN I PURCHASED THE RX7 FASHION KIT THEY HAD A PICTURE OF THE XS INTERCOOLER ON THEIR WEB PAGE. THAT IS WHAT I THOUGH I WAS BUYING. THEY REVISED THEIR PAGE SINCE I COMPLANED. THE NEW PICTURES SHOW THE CORRECT INTERCOOLER WITH THE SOMEWHAT RESTRICTIVE END TANK OPENINGS.

IF YOU RUN A BIG TURBO WITH LOTS OF BOOST 20+ PSIG AND DON'T CARE ABOUT LAG, IT WON'T BE A PROBLEM. THE APEXI CORE SURFACE AREA IS HUGE. GREAT FOR COOLING!

I AM NOT. I CHOSE A SMALL TURBO AND AM GOING TO "GREAT" LENGHTS TO REDUCE PRESSURE. HAND PORT. EXTRUDE HONE, JETHOT, HEATWRAP. BLA BLA ON AND ON TO MUCH TIME AND EFFORT TO LIST. I ONLY NEED 415 TO 425 RWHP FOR 2800 LBS.MY WEIGHT INCUDED.

"7LBS PER HP" IS WAY FAST ENOUGH TO GET ME IN TO OR OUT OF TROUBLE. I HAVE BEEN LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DRIVE CARS WITH BETTER POWER PER WEIGHT RATIOS AND THEY WERE ALL MORE THAN A HANDFULL.

HEY TO EACH THIER OWN. I TALK TOO MUCH. OUT OF HERE-

You can still have a functioning ac unit. You do have to move some stuff around when you install the intercooler, but thats no big deal. The condensor sits basically flat below the intercooler and radiator, so it doesn't get a direct shot of air. It still works for me, maybe just not as well when it is a 100 degrees outside.

The XS intercooler is not produced anymore.
I use the Greddy 3 row front mount and its huge. Very nice intercooler and comes completely polished.
