Thumbs down Greddy Elbow

stupid question...I put the greddy elbow on...now what did you guys use to block off the air bypass hose on the back of the UIM?...i cant seem to find a vac cap that big...any help would be appreciated...

go to home depot/wal mart etc and look for a stool or chair leg cap in the proper diameter. works like a charm.

i put a big lug nut in the hose.

also, if your car stalls after you blocked it up, start in 1st, then put it into n when its started up.

I drilled a hole in the back of the elbow and welded on a little bit of tubing so that I could still connect my air bypass hose. I didn't want any trouble from the smog folks. Worked very well.

You can get HELP! brand black rubber water hose caps from the auto parts store that work great. I think the size is 1/2" or 5/8" (can't remember which). Put a hose clamp on there to hold it in place.
