Talking Got a g/f and a boost leak in the same night!

Wow, but in the end I'm happy.

Oh and when I pull on the throttle cable I can hear the leak...sounds like a coupler or y pipe. Boost is only staying 'til 7 psi. Sound is coming from the airpump/crossover pipe area

shouldn't the whole GF part of this post be in the lounge?

Check the hoses to the pressure tank - If one of them popps off you only get 7psi boost (= Spring setting on wastegate acuator)

PS hope the GF thing works out for you also

heh whats it matter boost leak is good enough for 3rd gen. congrats but i would bet money your coupler from the intercooler piping after the ypipe that connects it to the piping going to the intercooler. same **** happened to me just replace it with either a stock one (u can probably pick one up from Mazda. do what i did and bum one off a friend or pick up a silicon one. i also cracked my intercooler piping also though so my boost leak is only half fixed..
