Got Boost¿¿¿

Ok, I have read threads for 2 hours last night and almost found a thread to help, but then the guys stopped talking in the direction I wanted it to go.

It seems I have a problem with my secondary turbo. The turbo itself works, but something is stopping it from working all the time. When I pin it in first, it pulls hard till about 4500-5000 then sluffs off, but if I leave it in 2nd and throttle it letting it load up , it goes like jack the bear. I do need a clutch but if the clutch couldn't handle the power, then it should rev up really quick... but it doesn't. Is there something that need to be adjusted or is it an acuator that need to be replaced or what? I have just recently done the silicone hoses. It kinda was doing this before I did the hose job but it is possible the lines might have been backwards(the guy before me had the turbos off).

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys...

Thinking a little more on this... it seems that if I press the gas to the floor slower than just stomping it down, it pulls harder as well.... just another factor to throw in there..........

Sounds to me like a non-fucntioning TCA. That controlls the secondary pre-spool, and it need both vacuum and pressure to open correctly. A non-functioning TCA would give the problems you suggest, slow build of 2ndary boost under WOT, but if you let it get up to 4500 rpms slowly, then mash the throttle it goes "like jack the bear "

Try here

http://www.autosportracetech.com/RX-...leshooting.htm

This has good info on the TCA and how to test both it and the check valves/ chambers that control it. Good luck!
