you will need an open exhaust to shoot flames. If you put a cat in place, it is restricting the flow and you will not be shooting flames
is it possible to pass emissions with open exaust, no right. what do u have to do, switch back for the inspections?

Flames only show how many BTUs are NOT going into power to accelerate the car. Similar to "burnouts:" inefficiency converting energy into acceleration of mass. As ex-injunear, very unappealing to me. Have fun, though, folks.

hey sikopathX, I have an RB single, dp, and am about to install a mp. I'm pretty sure that the rb exhausts will shoot flames even though they seem a bit more restrictive than the straight through style mufflers. I recall seeing pics before of cars with rb exhausts spittin flames, but I'll let you know how it goes.

Is it necessary to change the settings on the pfc to shoot flames? Is it possible to flame with the base pfc maps?

just rev the hell out of your engine then let off and it should fire right up. I rev mine to like 7 let off till like 5 hit it a couple more times and i get some nice ones out both pipes. Great for when you have a ricer in a civic tailgaiting you. I can't hardly go to a party with out someone asking is the 7 here? Rev it up lets see some fire.

Does anyone with a RB dual tip cb shoot flames? Can you see two individual ones? :

Does anyone shoot flames without tuning their ecu to do so? It seems like with the rotary-rich a/f ratios you could shoot big flames w/o messing with the tuning of the car...
