Good spot to mount a compact amplifier
I have an Alpine KTP-45U compact amplifier that I will be installing onto my Blaupunkt Frankfurt RCM 82, and I can't decide a good place to mount it. The radio itself is half-depth so I could probably place it behind the radio but then it would be buried and it would be difficult to make any gain adjustment later if needed and I try to avoid taking the dash apart at all costs...
Any thoughts on possible locations for the amp? The amp is pretty small but there does not seem to be much free hidden space up in the dash. I was thinking possibly behind the passenger seat, probably just using velcro to stick it to the carpet. Since that seat never moves it would be pushed in place.
Also wondering if there is a decent power source at the inside fuse box that could be used. It is only a 15 amp circuit but it should be a "good" source. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated!

I have mine in the glove box, no mounting - it's stable enough to not bother me, unless you're auto-crossing and stuff...
If I had a shallow depth receiver I'd probably try sneaking the amp behind it, that's also because I've never needed to change the gain/etc after initial setup.

I don't exactly remember it, but I think I tapped both constant 12v (Blue/Red) and switched 12v (Blue/Black) from the factory connector for the stereo.
The constant 12v comes from the 10A Room fuse, and the switched 12v from 15A Cigar fuse.
