FCDatalogit No Communication with Company Avoid?

Hi Everyone, I just wanted to share my experience with FC-Datalogit. I was trying to buy a datalogit, got it ordered from their website and nothing. Took my payment and I waited to hear from them for a shipping confirmation, waited for a couple weeks then sent an email asking for any information and got no response. I sent a second email a week later still nothing. I am now working with PayPal to get my money back, kind of disappointed in the lack of service from FC-Datalogit/Ridium.

Placed order 06-14-2024
First email sent 07-03-2024
Second email sent 07-09-2024

I still have not heard anything from fc-datalogit. I wanted to let everyone here know my experience to save someone frustrations going forward.

Was that in NZ or a local distributor? The kiwis were notorious for taking a long time (months) to approve the tuning forum access ~ 20 years ago. When PFCs were a more popular choice, datalogits were available off-the-shelf........locally at least.

Website in NZ, I'm in a rural area in BC Canada. One would think if a customer orders something from your website you would at least communicate with the customer.
I would hope it wasn't a fake site. Doesn't seem like a fake site. fc-datalogit.co.nz

FCDAtalogit

You don't really need the Datalogit anymore. Look up FcTweak. Xavier has made his own interface that replaces the datalogit and makes the whole tuning process a lot easier.

yeah, cancel that order and order FC-Tweak. There are a few threads in the PowerFC forum here: https://www.rx7club.com/power-fc-forum-47/

Thanks all,

I have taken your advice (Gregoryp, Gracer7, and arghx) I have already chatted with Xavier and once this PayPal claim goes through that is the route I will take. I should have asked in here first lol, would have saved me some time.
Xavier's new prototype "Commander" looks pretty sweet too!

I find myself making goofs like that all the time now that I'm old(er).

I / we had established a baseline of knowledge starting 10, 20, xx years ago. We don't realize how much time has passed. It doesn't seem that long in our minds. But it is and new stuff has replaced what was the norm back when we first learned it.
