Good Idea/Bad Idea

..to replace the factory warning on the rear view mirrors "Objects in mirror are closer then they appear" with...

"Objects in Mirror are Losing"

good idea or bad idea?

PS anyone know where you could get something like that done, or what they use to "frost the glass with the letters"?

Not a good idea or a bad idea. Just some mirror rice.

Hmmm I don't think it would be considered rice, its small and discreet. Plus I don't think anyone has that on their mirrors

You can purchase a sticker saying that all over the net. Alot of people have that on their mirrors.

damnit nothings original its all been done before, BUT I don't want a sticker I just want the lettering replaced itself on the mirrors, and they are not stickers it like frosted on them.

SO basically what I mean is the new message would look exactly like the factory message on the mirrors , no stickers here, just the one I put over the air bag warning

I've seen it on a FD before. Heblenny has pictures of it too. I believe Garfinkle said that he'd do it for people that wanted it done.

I think it's corny.

Whenever I mod my FD, I like to think, "Would a Porsche/Ferrari owner do this?"

would I put a small discreet sticker on my 11K FD that not too many people have, yes.
