GM 3 bar map sensor help

I have been doing some research with installing a 3 bar map sensor. I have it installed and no problems there. however, I see some people taking about changing options (ie option 1,2,3, or 4). Do I need a datalogit to change these options or can I do it with just the commander. I also tried to start the vehicle but it cuts after 3-4 seconds of running.

you need the datalogit to change the PIM scale offset in settings 3. to run a different map sensor. The datalogit and a wideband o2 sensor is probably the best investment you can make for tuning your car though. so if you have the money for one, go for it!

You need a Datalogit and you probably also need to calibrate the sensor because the canned PFC settings can be inaccurate. Search for 'calibration' in the PFC section.

Once you have your datalogit set your scale to 6750 and your offset to 250 and your done.

Is this the change needed to compensate for the third source of info (the stock MAP sensor and the Apex'i 3-bar offer 3 axis's of data, whereas the GM 3-bar only offers 2) that the PFC expects?

I know there is a change which needs to be made, but I can't remember exactly what the change is since I just called up RP then handed the phone off to my tuner for sorting when I got all my toys installed and tuned.

Yeah, def join the spam which is the PFC-DL-Tuning group ^_^ you'll learn a LOT, even if you aren't actively tuning your own car

3 axis of data? It's just a map sensor with a different voltage calibration since it can read more boost.
