Exclamation Give me your SMOG shops: the a-holes and the good ones.

Ok, per SanJoRx7 and jspecracer7,

Can everyone PM me their mods (the important ones like: DP, MP, Intake that relate to the exhaust) and the name of shop that passed them with a SMOG check (name, city, state, etc.)? Hopefully, some of them are in California since a lot of us are from there.

I'm sure a lot of people want this info and I WILL keep your names (not the shops) confidential and post something either here or on my website.

Help everyone out man!

Also, post or give me the **** shops that won't give us face!

Amen! Franky, frank69m@hotmail.com

But if you don't keep the names of the shops confidential, the emissions board WILL find out which shops they are. If anyone can look at your website and find a "good one", then they (the emissions board) will be able to find it too. So in actuality, your list will help the smog board find out who is "looking the other way" in regards to emissions.

Also, HEAVY fines are imposed on shops that violate emissions guidelines. Who knows....I could literally be an undercover smog regulator looking to bust some shops! (COPS theme...bad boys bad boys...whatcha gonna do...).

Basically, your idea of a list is good, but there are some holes in your exhaust system. You need to get them fixed.

This is a BAD idea. Just check around on the region specific forums when you need a shop that'll help. Posting the names of a-hole shops is fine, but even keeping a list of the friendly ones is trouble waiting to happen.

There's no need for a repository of such information...just check around and you'll get what you're asking for.

Ummm....okay, we all know that SanJoRx7 is probably in Cali...but if you look at my LOCATION I am in OKINAWA, JAPAN. I posted before saying that SanJo had a good idea about posting the BAD rx7 smog test shops and PMing each other the good ones. Keep the names of the good shops out of the threads...you guys don't need any of them losing their business licenses for "illegal" actions

Have you gotten any flak about your avatar? I assume you are attempting to be humorous, but why Bin Laden?? I personally see no humor in that whatsoever! I am not personally attacking you, but your choice of Avatars leaves much to be desired. Just my $.02.

Actually, to be honest with you. I've had this Avatar for like 9 months now and you are the first person to mention this to me. It's all in fun. I'm a true blooded american here and wouldn't insult anyone in regards to issues like this. Personally, if I saw him over here and I was in my FD, I'd run him over and sacrifice my baby.
