Look, "looking for an FD to drift" means you don't know what the **** you're doing.

These are not drifting cars - they're circuit cars - no matter how much Apex'I and any others want you to believe otherwise.

Lots of FDs for sale in the for sale section... what a novel idea.

You can find people selling them here. ^^

I sense another "I crashed my FD" thread in the future. If your bf knows about drifting then he would know that the FD isn't the easiest drift car. One of the easiest driftcars is the 240 that hes driving. Maybe you should just get one of those and learn on it before you make FDs even more rare.

*edit*
Oh and I'd recommend you get a 93 since there are far more 93s and they are a bit cheaper.

Then do some ******* research for yourself and find a car. This isn't a "help me find a car" forum, we have a FOR SALE section for that.

Don't come in here, ask a question, and then start yelling at people because we're not giving you the answers. There is a TON of FREE information on this forum, all you have to do is use the search button.

If you want to drift, I don't care if youre boyfriend is winning D1 events, you're not going to have an easy time starting in an FD... and on top of that, you expect an FD to be able to be your drift car and your daily driver? Good luck, you've got a lot to learn.

Go search.

dude, is ok, let her go and do what she wants and once she knows how fragile the 13B, then she'll be humbled and learn the fact on this car and learn from this forum.

You are obviously too damn lazy to look for the car yourself. Go to ebay, buy the car but don't come back here asking us for advice on how to modify or for that matter, how to do anything on the car. Tell your boyfriend to get another job 'cause you're going to need the money.

please dont get a FD to drift in. The mechanics and money spent on rotary will blow ure mind. We spends thousands just to replace oem parts daily driving these things and your thinkin about drifting in an FD.

Thanks to u all for the classifieds info... i'm heated due to the fact that girls are usually underestimated and i'm struggling to just get my question answered which i did and thank ya!

I don't mean to disrespect in the sense of asking advice on where to get a car by choosing my own thread to post. I should've known I would get judged as someone "who is only into drifting due to the movie."

And if you consider living in the real world, you can certainly have a daily driver as a drift car vise versa, it's a matter if u crash it more often than drift it.

Yes, i'm well aware that it costs money, have seen plenty of accidents, and I know there are other great cars that would help me the best to start out with (probably not to mention cheaper) but I prefer at the moment for an RX-7.

Just because she's a woman it doesn't mean she can't help herself. Every question on Earth about FD's can be found on this forum, all you have to do is search.

I just want u guys to know that i haven't seen the movie... didn't know the main driver had an FD, and prefer the RX-7 due to its look and not necessarily for it's not so easy drifting capabilities... don't think i'm stupid for thinking that way... I know it'll be difficult, but i'm willing to take that chance but i do appreciate the advice..

yea not "underestimating" you, but its hard enough to have an FD as a daily driver, let alone doubling it as a car that your gonna be drifting. i'd really think twice about it and not be dead set on getting an FD, i don't think u know what your getting into :P

well u also need to differentiate between looks and the cost of maintenance on the car my friend. just because the looks is sexy as hell does not mean the maintenance is cheap. that's why most of the forum members here advice you to get a cheaper car to learn how to drift first before u get to the FD, there's a reason for us to tell you so.

All it would've taken was five minutes using the search feature and you would've known that beforehand.

And if you consider listening to some of the people who are giving you real advice (not just "shouting" ), you'd see that the FD will not work as both a daily driver and a drift car. It has a hard enough time as a daily driver...
