Wink A Girl Looking For RX-7 to Drift..

Alright,

I'm looking for an RX-7 both as a daily driver and to drift.

I like the look of the 1994 model, but I'm open to any FD!

Please help a girl out in finding a great car that will last me a trip to work and also a trip to the track!

~Kristin

Get an NA FC and learn to drive first, not that you cannot learn to drift in an FD. It is just that you will spend a lot of un necessary money. You can learn in the FC, then sell it and get an FD when you are ready.

true, my boyfriend has a 240sx and is a great drifter, and so he's kind of inspiring me and he recommended an FD, but I love the look for the RX-7...

Easier to find a 93 than a 94. If you're just starting out in the drifting scene, this is not the car I would start with, especially if you're not familiar with a rotary. I mean, you don't need to do much (suspension, tires, a better radiator and intercooler) but if the motor is not up to par and **** starts to happen, you better have some dough ready.

oh btw, if ur bf really understand drifting that well and he care for u then he'll ask u to get FWD car first to get the feeling of drifting then go with RWD. I thought my fiancee juz that, now we're shopping for a miata so that she can practice drifting.
