Getting my car ready for the Spring

I got my car in Sept. 04, last winter i didn't have it in storage for too long cause i loved driving it, this winter i put it away and its been sitting for about 3 mo. i started it like a month after i put it in storage and added some gas treatment. Now that i am getting closer to taking it out what do you guys all do before you take it out for the spring. Do you change ALL fluids?? Just wondering thanks.

Mine has also been in storage, but with the mild winter we've had, I've had it out a couple of times since Thanksgiving. I'll probably crank it a bit with the fuse pulled just to get oil pumped, and I plan on running it for a hundred miles or so before changing the oil and filter. But nothing special beyond that. During storage, I keep the tank full and the park brake off.
I would add that among the list of stuff to do while it's in storage is to change out transmission and diff fluids, along with a few other maintanence items. But normally only the oil gets changed out of storage.

Hey Sgtblue, we need to try to get a better gathering this year. We tried last year but it didn't work very well. I work a 3rd shift now so i can go anyday of the week. I will probably go up to flashbacks a few more times this year, lets start posting on the thread i started in the midwest section (Any get togethers in Nebraska) and set something up. Thanks for the info.

Oh, and FWIW, I also unhook the negative battery terminal.
As far as meeting up, that would be great and I'll watch the thread, but I'm not optmistic.

Well i tried a search and my computer froze up so i am just going to ask this question and hopefully get a helpful response. I dont want to risk it freezing again. I have a greddy airinx intake and this winter i plan on getting a full exhaust, dp/mp combo, Racing Beat Duals, AST and greddy pulley set to eliminate the air pump. My question is, when i get rid of the air pump what should i put in the piping that comes from the intake. As you know the air pump hose connects to the intake but this piece of piping is pretty long and i think might look a little funny with just a plug in it. What should be put there?? Thanks for the info.

You may also need to port your wastegate and something more than the stock ECU if you going to run without a cat.
