How would i go about checking a deadmissfire on our cars... compression sounds good.

 

Start by changing your spark plugs and inspecting your wires.

 

By inspecting the wires what should i be looking for? oil on the connections? or ?
i will change the plugs as well.

 

Age, wear, cracking, corrosion, etc.

 

Do yourself a favor and just changes the wires and plugs, then see if you still have an issue. Visual inspections on wires won't let you catch everything, so go on the safe side and just throw some new ones on. It can't hurt.
