i got mine from NRAuto.com, they are awesome, look absolutely great. i dont think that you can get the jdm ones, well atleast not without alot of work and money but the NRautos are as close as you can get. just becareful when removing the speedo needle, it rips right out and is a pain to put back in. hope that helps

those 99 gauges are nice....now if somebody could get a hold of them for a reasonable price i'd be all over those...here's a not so good pic of my nr auto gauges.

Not to disuade you from your project, but the jspec FD's were updated to a 16bit ecu, so there may be more wiring issues. I personally do not know if they plug directly in or not, maybe someone could call mazdacomp and ask them.

1. Gas gauge does/did not have dummy light hole..
2. The tach is flat...OEM tach has a lower section so the needle does not drag on surface of face.
My white face guages are about 5 years old...so maybe they changed them by now...currently uninstalled since I have never had the chance to stick them in my newer FD..since pulling them out of my old one.

hey sorry for takin so long to respond
unfortunately i dont have any pics of them since i dont have a camera. they light up a light orange at night, slightly different from the originals but it still looks nice. they're much easier on the eyes than the original red. as far as the tach being flat thats true but it isnt a problem at all, to prevent the needle from dragging you can either not push it on as far on the little pin or you can just use some double sided tape between the white face and the front housing of the tach. works just fine

Having never done this sort of mod on any car, is it possible to just put a green bulb to get the numbers and marks to be green, and the face to stay white?

Why is it that the 99+ (and maybe older) Japanese FD's only go up to 180kph? That's only 111mph.... my grandma's Buick goes higher than that. Hell I can get going that fast by the end of the on-ramp. hmmm.

all the cars limit in Japan is 180 KPH and 280 PS...~112.5 MPH and ~276 HP respectively. look at any Skyline, FD, Lancer, ect. speedo. only go up to 180 KPH.
