From the Garage...another mod

Just as every inch matters, so does every ounce. Horsepower to Weight ratio is the end result for the means.

Now from the Garage - aluminum Altenator bracket. Weighs much less than the stocker and just as sturdy.

To answer some questions early...No I didn't buy it, I made it. It is 3/16" aluminum sheet, cost is a few bucks ( Made it from my scrap pile ). It is currently primered and painted red. Tools needed - saber saw, rat tail file, drill and bits, imagination

Cool idea. Your car just went from 2900 lbs. to 2899 lbs., 4 oz.

Nice,
I'm not sure I'll try this one since I don't have a scroll saw, but I've already started on the hood prop.
I like where you're going with these ideas; you're building the car the way the Mazda engineers wanted to until the financial pigs stepped in.

Hey, it's fun to challenge yourself, make the things and then stand back and admire your work. This piece took 1 hour start to finish. You can do it to.
