From the Garage...another mod
Just as every inch matters, so does every ounce. Horsepower to Weight ratio is the end result for the means.
Now from the Garage - aluminum Altenator bracket. Weighs much less than the stocker and just as sturdy.
To answer some questions early...No I didn't buy it, I made it. It is 3/16" aluminum sheet, cost is a few bucks ( Made it from my scrap pile ). It is currently primered and painted red. Tools needed - saber saw, rat tail file, drill and bits, imagination

I'm not sure I'll try this one since I don't have a scroll saw, but I've already started on the hood prop.
I like where you're going with these ideas; you're building the car the way the Mazda engineers wanted to until the financial pigs stepped in.
